About

ATOMWOLF

I’ve been blogging on and off since 2000, and I have a portfolio-style site over at https://adamwolf.org. Still, I’ve been wanting to do something more “digital garden”-y for a while.

I’m not sure exactly what that means. I want to collect and publish more of my work as it happens, rather than after things are “finished goods”. See swyx's "Learn in Public". I want to make significant updates to pages after they’ve been published, rather than require someone to read through a series of updates to synthesize the state of play. I want to de-emphasize the typical chronological list. See Amy Hoy's "How the Blog Broke the Web".

I’ve written more about the tools used and design of this site in the colophon.

Adam Wolf

You can find a lot more about me at https://adamwolf.org, but I like to write code and make doohickeys. I like making and tinkering with electronics, and I have fun designing and printing things on a 3D printer. I also like to read and dance and roller skate and do things with my family. I have an awesome wife and two awesome kids.

I’m quite obsessed with The Locked Tomb.

Elsewhere

My “portfolio” site is at adamwolf.org, and I have a different blog at Feels Like Burning. I do most of my work through Cold Bloom Labs, and I’m a co-founder of Wayne and Layne.

You might find me elsewhere at:

Please email me if you’re trying to get in touch. I don’t really check or use messages on any of those platforms.

Interested in working together?

If you have a project for me or want to collaborate, please reach out and shoot your shot. I’m busier than I want to be and have to say no to some great things, but I can’t say yes if you don’t ask!

Contact

The best way to reach me is by email at [email protected].

I try to respond to email quickly, but please note I regularly ignore my email on weekends.

About the Name

I was teaching a camp on hacking LEGO robotics or breadboarding logic gates or something, and was directing folks to a resource page on https://adamwolf.org.

One of the kids couldn’t load the page. He had heard “Adam Wolf” and thought “Atom Wolf”. Amazing! I’m not gonna look a gift wolf in the mouth! (I registered the domain that evening.)
